Tallanon World Map
This is my setting for the game world that I have run several campaigns in over last 35 years - feel free to use it, use another or make your own.
Below is my orignal hand-drawn map, made with kids colouring in pencils in 1992.
Underneath this map is my newly digitally updated map, made in 2022 (30 years later).

Massive stone bridge, built by dwarves
Crossroads with 4 taverns on each corner
Stop over, stables, kennels, animal trainers and sellers

Rumored to house an underground beast fighting arena and gambling den

Huge Wooden platform in the middle of a lake
Centre for commerce and trade
Most rare commodities can be found here
Many Raft and ferry services

Steep dark slate roofs, to keep the snow off
Pale grey vertical logs for building walls
White washed to camouflage from local snow trolls and yetis
Ice fishing for seal blubber and walrus meat
Annual ice bridge to the Isle of Fear in the winter season
Good variety of Arctic seafood, fish, crab, squid
Several mines in the Western Dragon’s Teeth Mountains for semi-precious metals
Rumored to have secret under ground passages to the dwarf city of Frosthelm
Locals worship Hydrana the violent God of seas and storms

Shrines to Huluck-abuk the God of merriment, wine and luck (Statues of merry, drunken fisherman, with arms full of fish, surrounded by empty rum bottles)
