Requires the Hero to have at least Incredible (10) Magic Skill or higher. Spells cost 5 Mana to cast.
To successfully cast a Fifth Circle Spell the Hero needs to pass a Very Difficult (Difficulty Number 14) Heroic Roll based on the Hero's Magic Skill. The Difficulty number becomes 14+ the target's Magic Resistance if being cast on a creature or an item they are carrying.
PETRIFY/UNPETRIFY: When this Spell is cast at a victim within 30 metres of the caster, the victim and all equipment carried will turn to stone. The reverse of this Spell will do the exact opposite.
EARTH QUAKE: All creatures and structures on the ground within 100 metres of the caster will perish.
ANTI-MAGIC SHELL: This Spell forms a barrier of 5 metres radius around the caster that prevents any Spells from passing through the barrier (either way) for a period of up to d6x10 mintures (GM Secret Roll). A Dispel Magic Spell is the only Spell that may affect the barrier.
HELL-FIRE: This Spell affects all enemies of the caster within 20 metres, causing them to erupt in flames (Offensive 5d6+30).
SHADOW BOLT: When this deadly Spell is cast a bolt of dark energy (Offensive d6x50) leaps from the casters hand towards their target up to 100 metres away.
DISINTEGRATE: This powerful Spell enables the caster to turn to dust any one item or creature (a dragon, a ship, a 5m section of wall) within 20 metres.
DOME OF DEFENCE: For up to d6x10 mintures (GM Secret Roll) after this Spell has been cast, the caster is protected from all non-magical physical attacks.
LIFE/DEATH: The Spell of Life brings a dead being back to life, but with one Level less of Endurance. The reverse Spell Death, instantly slays on creature. The range of this Spell is 10 metres. Casting this spell permenetly ages the caster 1d6 years.
RAISE DEATH-WRAITH: With this sinister necromantic Spell the caster is able to transform a long-dead corpse within 10 metres in to a ghastly Death-Wraith, that will obey their every command for d6 hours (GM Secret Roll).
SUMMON GREATER DEMON: This dangerous Spell summons the mightiest of beings from the dark depths to do the casters bidding for d6 hours (GM Secret Roll). Creatures such as Fire Demons, Hell Demons, Ice Demons, Night Demons and Snake Demons may be called forth, but will wish to destroy their summoner on a roll of 1 or 2 on a d6 (GM Secret Roll). These creatures are very crafty and like to cause the caster mischief. As the old saying goes, “He is a fool who seeks the help of the devil”.
