1. Choose a Hero Career

Pick one of the 41 Careers below, or roll D66 to let fate decide.
Each Career gives you:

• Basic starting gear

• A few gold coins

• Recommended spells (if you’re a caster)

You can customize spells later with your GM.

Every Hero begins with:

• ≈ 5 gold worth of weapons, armour, and supplies

• + d6 gold coins

You’ll upgrade your gear through loot, quests, and treasure.

5. Ready to Play

You now have:

• A Career

• A look, personality, and past

• Gear

• A reason to seek gold, glory, and danger

Your adventure begins the moment you step into the world of Talanon.

The GM may allow players to design a custom Career. This recommended once the player has played about 6 - 10 sessions of DoomBlade, to understand how it works.

The player provides:

• A Career name

• A short description

• A Skill Rank spread (choose one of the two arrays below)

Then calculate derived Stats normally.
