• The Gambler Initiative (Optional Rule): Want to swap out your dice for something completely different? DoomBlade features an optional card-based system using a standard 52-card deck. Players and monsters are dealt a hand of cards based on their Agility skill and must lay down poker-style hands (Pairs, Three-of-a-Kind, or High Cards) to seize control of the combat order.

• Deep Modular Crafting & Alchemy: Take control of your downtime with a rewarding, unified crafting system. By averaging your hero's relevant skills into a Combined Test, you can forge weapons, concoct dangerous alchemical potions, carve magical runes into your armor, or weave raw spells into enchanted gear.

• Fate-Bending Luck: DoomBlade puts the power of destiny into the hands of the players. Heroes can earn and spend Luck to twist fate—allowing you to reroll catastrophic failures, add explosive bonuses to damage, or mitigate incoming damage when standing on the brink of death.

• Limitless Character Customization: Choose from dozens of pre-made starting Heroes or work with your GM to build your own custom Hero. A streamlined leveling-up system ensures your Hero keeps progressing as you hunt for legendary loot, buy better equipment, and train at specialized factions across the realm.
